The Pittsburgh Penguins have been riding a twelve game win streak from March 2nd to March 24th. Their starting offensive line of Chris Kunitz, Sidney Crosby, and Pascal Dupuis have proven to be the most effective and best in the league. The Pens at 25-8 are currently the best team in hockey, and are favorites for the Stanley Cup. Who else but the captain Crosby would be leading the NHL in points (53), and assists (39) and second in plus/minus with 23, only behind teammate Kunitz with 24. It also helps that Kunitz is tied for second in points with 41, and second in goals with 19. Defenseman Kris Letang is tied for 3rd in the league in assists with 25, and starting goalie Marc-Andre Fleury is tied for wins with 17. Fleury and Tomas Vokoun have been a strong goalie tandem with a shutout for each so far. They were number one in this week's NHL Power Rankings, dethroning the Anaheim Ducks who've held the spot the past two weeks.
