This Sunday, Drew Brees and the Saints became first to down the high-flying Atlanta Falcons of 2012. Brees was 21-32 in passing, with 298 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Tight end Jimmy Graham caught seven passes for a career-best 146 yards receiving. He also had two touchdowns to complement the win. Matt Ryan was stellar as usual, throwing for his career-best 411 yards and was 34-52 in pass attempts. But he got a little shaky when it seemed like he could have the game-winner to Harry Gonzalez on second down at the 1-yard line in the fourth quarter. Then New Orleans stopped Michael Turner for a 1-yard loss. Then Jabari Greer made a diving pass break up on fourth down that was intended for Roddy White. The Saints now move up to 4-5, after a disappointing 0-4 start. The Falcons, this being their only loss thus far, are 8-1. But now they don't have to worry about perfection, just about winning in the playoffs this year which they are bound to make. And hopefully, they'll get past the first round where last year they were knocked out by the eventual champions, New York Giants. Next week the Saints will face the Oakland Raiders, and the Falcons will play the Arizona Cardinals.
